- Prepare 100 gm of usal mix pulses (ready available).
- Prepare 1/4 cup of dry white peas(Safed vatana).
- You need 2 of big tomatoes (purée).
- You need of For spicy masala (to grind).
- You need 2 tbsp of oil.
- You need 3 tbsp of chopped onion.
- Prepare 4-5 of black peppercorns.
- Prepare 3-4 of cloves.
- You need 1 pinch of cinnamon.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of tumeric powder.
- It's 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- It's 1 tbsp of dhania powder.
- You need 1 of small piece of ginger.
- It's 2 tbsp of usal masala.
- It's 2 tbsp of grated coconut.
- You need of Garlic cloves as per your taste.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- It's of For Dalgona Usal Pav.
- It's 4-6 of pav.
- You need of Finely chopped onion.
- Prepare of Mixture farshan as required.
- Prepare slices of Lemon.
Dalgona Usal Pav instructions
- Wash,soak usal mix pulses + white peas together for 6-8 hours with 1/2 tsp salt. Pressure cook with a pinch of soda bi carb for 5-6 whistles..
- In kadhai add 2 tbsp oil,add chopped onion and saute till brown. Add cloves,cinnamon, peppercorns, bay leaf and saute for 2 minutes..
- Off the flame,add tumeric powder, chilli powder, dhania powder,usal masala,ginger and garlic. Grind in mixer jar to smooth paste..
- In same kadhai add 2 tbsp oil,add grinded masala paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes..
- Add boiled pulses,water and salt. Cook for 10 mins..
- Keep all things required to make Dalgona Usal Pav..
- For one serving:. Pour 3-4 laddleful of prepared hot usal in glass..
- On it put fistful of farshan mixture as shown..
- On it spread a layer of finely chopped onion. Squeeze lemon juice on it..
- On it placed warm toasted Pav as shown. Serve/ Relish Delicious Dalgona Usal Pav immediately..
